Negreet waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Converse Wildcats 50-22. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while the Wildcats are ranked 240th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Negreet's victory bumped their record up to 19-13. As for Converse, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-24 record this season.

Negreet does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Converse, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 56-46 win against Calvary Baptist Academy on the 14th.
