There's no place like home for Venus, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Ferris Yellowjackets 10-4 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Venus is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Ferris, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10-2.

Venus didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 20-9 victory against Hillsboro on the 3rd. As for Ferris, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-6 win against Kennedale on the 4th.
