Basketball Recap: Keaton Delagrange and Camden Brooks Secure Win for Woodlan

Woodlan lost to Garrett back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Warriors came out on top against the Railroaders by a score of 55-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Leading Woodlan to victory were Camden Brooks and Keaton Delagrange. Brooks almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards, while Delagrange went 5-for-9 to rack up 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was CJ Bullock, who posted ten points.

Garrett lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Carter Coffman, who had 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden O'Neal, who earned 11 points and eight rebounds.

Woodlan now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Garrett, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Woodlan will face off against Jay County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Garrett, they will head out on the road to take on Fremont at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
