Greenwood Christian Academy's six-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 63-28 victory over Colonial Christian. The victory was all the more spectacular given Greenwood Christian Academy's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 380th, while Colonial Christian is ranked 159th).
Meanwhile, Morristown beat Edinburgh 52-41 on Saturday. The win was just what Morristown needed coming off of a 60-31 loss in their prior contest.
DDanika Rutledge continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayla Keithley, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Greenwood Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Morristown, they pushed their record up to 7-12 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
