Basketball Game Preview: Kennewick Lions vs. Central Valley Bears

The Kennewick Lions will face off against the Central Valley Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kennewick is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 52-44 victory over Ridgeline. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Central Valley put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Southridge 60-24. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 25 points or more this season.

Kennewick's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Central Valley, they pushed their record up to 22-0 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Kennewick came up short against Central Valley in their previous matchup back in January, falling 62-51. Can Kennewick avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
