Bethany Christian wins going away against Trinity

The Bethany Christian Bruins had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Trinity 38-19 on Friday. Given Bethany Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while Trinity is ranked 380th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Zoe Willems, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Leyna Borgmann, who scored seven points.

Bethany Christian's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-6. As for Trinity, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-15.

Bethany Christian on the road again on Friday and play against Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Hamilton is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. As for Trinity, Trinity and Triton will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
