Volleyball Recap: Walsh Takes a Loss

Walsh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wiley Panthers. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Panthers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 26-28, 25-13, 25-7.

Audrey Caddick paced Walsh's offense, picking up six kills. Caddick got some help from Ava Alley and her 11 assists. Jaylie Freiberger controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Walsh's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wiley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Walsh has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Syracuse on the 6th. As for Wiley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Cheyenne Wells on the 6th.
