The Kimball Longhorns will face off against the Bridgeport Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-20, which was the final score in Kimball's tilt against Hemingford on Friday. The Longhorns have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Bridgeport faced Perkins County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Bridgeport snuck past Perkins County with a 26-20 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bridgeport to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nikolas Weibert, who threw for 174 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Landon Dean was another key player, picking up 69 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Bridgeport's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged four passes before it was all said and done. Weibert led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Logan Levick also set a new season high mark in rushing yards with 86.

Kimball's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bridgeport, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
