Football Recap: Holston's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

If Holston was feeling good fresh off their 49-18 takedown of Eastern Montgomery last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The contest between the Cavaliers and the Narrows Green Waves didn't end well, with the Cavaliers falling 28-14. The loss put an end to the Cavaliers' undefeated start to the season.

Despite the loss, Holston still got an impressive performance from Eli Tweed, who rushed for 161 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.

Narrows was led to victory by Elijah Knoetze and Cooper Helvey. Knoetze rushed for 146 yards and two scores while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, while Helvey rushed for 149 yards and a pair of TDs. Knoetze also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making seven total tackles and defending two passes.

Having lost for the first time this season, Holston fell to 2-1. As for Narrows, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Holston will head out on the road to take on John Battle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Narrows, they will be playing at home against Chilhowie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
