Volleyball Recap: Weber Comes Up Short

Weber was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Salem Hills Skyhawks.

While Weber ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least ten points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 23-25, 25-27, 15-10.

Weber's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Salem Hills, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Weber will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Union at 5:00 p.m. on September 9. As for Salem Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasant Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
