Basketball Game Preview: Donoho Falcons vs. Ohatchee Indians

The Donoho Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Ohatchee Indians at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. Donoho knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Ohatchee likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Donoho lost to Coosa Christian at home by a 84-66 margin. The Falcons have struggled against the Conquerors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Ohatchee hadn't done well against Weaver recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Ohatchee took down Weaver 71-54. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Ohatchee's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Donoho, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Donoho suffered a grim 76-56 defeat to Ohatchee when the teams last played back in January of 2020. Can Donoho avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
