Basketball Recap: Aquinas Takes a Loss

Aquinas lost to Harlem back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Fightin' Irish took a 51-33 bruising from the Bulldogs.

Harlem found their leader in freshman Paris Eaves, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 15 boards. Eaves has become a key player for the Bulldogs: the team is 2-1 when she posts at least 20 points, but 7-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Reid, who posted eight points and four steals.

Aquinas' loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Harlem, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-11 record.

Aquinas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 35-31 victory against Glascock County on the 5th. As for Harlem, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 34-26 win against Lakeside on the 5th.
