Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Wilson Eagerton and Kelson Free Lead Ezekiel Academy to Victory

Ezekiel Academy picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 55-36 win over the Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights.

Ezekiel Academy was led to victory by Kelson Free and Wilson Eagerton. Free almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds, while Eagerton went 6-for-9 on his way to 14 points in addition to six boards and six steals. Those nine boards gave Free a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Taylor, who posted 12 points and five steals.

Ezekiel Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

The victory got Ezekiel Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Georgia Force Christian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Ezekiel Academy has already played their next contest, a 66-54 win against Rocket City on the 1st. As for Georgia Force Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-24 victory against Central Georgia Arts on the 1st.
