The Eldorado Firehawks will challenge the Rancho Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eldorado will be strutting in after a victory while Rancho will be coming in after a defeat.

Eldorado took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Sunrise Mountain a 25-0 shutout.

One reason for the win was Eldorado's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Xavier Castro was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He also made five total tackles, which is notable because Eldorado is 3-1 when he posts at least four total tackles, but 1-2 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Rancho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 14-7 to Cheyenne.

Eldorado now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Rancho, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
