Preview: Moses Brown Quakers vs. Smithfield Sentinels
The Moses Brown Quakers will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Smithfield Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Saturday, Moses Brown was fully in charge, breezing past Coventry 58-19 on the road. The victory was just what Moses Brown needed coming off of a 72-28 loss in their prior match.
Lauren Bousquet was a one-man wrecking crew for Moses Brown as she dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bousquet has scored at least 25% of Moses Brown's points. Jaelynn Perez was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, Smithfield got the win against Tiverton on Friday by a conclusive 54-30. The win made it back-to-back wins for Smithfield.
Moses Brown now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Smithfield, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
