Soccer Recap: Astronaut Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Astronaut can now relate to. They lost 7-0 to the Cocoa Beach Minutemen on Monday. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, the War Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Astronaut has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which is still a better percentage than their 3-14-2 record this season. As for Cocoa Beach, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3-1 record this season.

Astronaut does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cocoa Beach, they will square off against Space Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cocoa Beach is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.
