Basketball Game Preview: Western Yell County Wolverines vs. St. Paul Saints

After both having extra time off, the Western Yell County Wolverines and the St. Paul Saints will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Western Yell County has five straight wins, St. Paul has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Western Yell County will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Caddo Hills, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. Western Yell County came out on top against Caddo Hills by a score of 43-35 last Friday.

Meanwhile, St. Paul didn't have quite enough to beat Mulberry two weeks ago and fell 39-36.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Western Yell County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Western Yell County beat St. Paul 59-46 in their previous meeting back in January of 2020. The rematch might be a little tougher for Western Yell County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
