Soccer Game Preview: Centennial vs. King

The Centennial Huskies and the King Wolves will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

King will have to contend with a Centennial team hungry for a win, something the squad hasn't seen since December 27. Centennial fell 4-2 to Corona on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, King also has not seen a win for a while (their last was back in December of 2024), and their contest on Wednesday was sadly no different. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Santiago. While losing is never fun, Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 406th, while the Sharks are ranked 131st).

King now has a losing record at 5-6-4. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5-3.
