Volleyball Recap: Antelope Valley Comes Up Short

Antelope Valley lost against Lancaster back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Antelopes fell 3-1 to the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 20-25, 25-16.

Leading Lancaster to victory were Bryan Romero Martinez and Miguel Hendrix. Romero Martinez had ten digs and two aces, while Hendrix had eight digs and two aces. That's the most digs Hendrix has posted since back in May of 2024.

Antelope Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Lancaster, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-15.

Antelope Valley has already played their next contest (against Knight), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lancaster, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Palmdale on the 4th.
