Volleyball Recap: Woodland Comes Up Short

Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Destiny Christian Academy Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Destiny Christian Academy scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-18.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Destiny Christian Academy, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-11.

As of now, neither Woodland nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
