Soccer Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

Lafayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Henry Clay Blue Devils. Lafayette were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Henry Clay apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Henry Clay, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

Lafayette will take on Paul Laurence Dunbar at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Henry Clay, they will head out to square off against Ryle at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
