Kareem Alkhalifa Game Report: vs Mountain Ridge

On Friday, Pinnacle got the W thanks in part to Kareem Alkhalifa playing the best basketball he has all season. Alkhalifa went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 24 points, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Alkhalifa's strong effort led Pinnacle over Mountain Ridge and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alkhalifa hasn't had any trouble running up the score (he's averaged 17.2 per game this season), but he'll have his work cut out for him against a dominant Mountain Ridge defense that's only given up 31.8 points per game.
