Volleyball Recap: Northwestern Lehigh Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northwestern Lehigh can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Southern Lehigh Spartans on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

Daisy Stringer paced Northwestern Lehigh's offense, picking up five kills. Stringer got some help from Kayla Schaffer and her 15 assists. Finally, Lily Kinnon kept Northwestern Lehigh's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Northwestern Lehigh moved to 15-8 with that defeat, which also ended their six-match winning streak. As for Southern Lehigh, the win keeps them at an undefeated 17-0-1.
