Volleyball Recap: Pine View Comes Up Short

Pine View suffered their biggest defeat since August 26th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Desert Hills Thunder, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Pine View was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-21.

Pine View's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Desert Hills, they pushed their record up to 18-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Pine View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Hurricane on the 7th. As for Desert Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Crimson Cliffs on the 2nd.
