Bethany Christian can't be too happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Thursday. They fell 39-26 to West Noble.

Despite their defeat, Bethany Christian saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Cori Chupp, who posted seven points and six rebounds, was perhaps the best of all.

Meanwhile, Jimtown hadn't done well against Argos recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Jimmies snuck past the Dragons with a 42-36 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jimmies.

Bethany Christian and Jimtown were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but Bethany Christian came up empty-handed after a 40-39 loss. Can the Bruins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
