Baseball Recap: Cameron County Raiders vs. Coudersport Falcons

After a string of six wins, Cameron County's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell victim to a rough 12-2 loss at the hands of the Coudersport Falcons. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Cameron County has scored all season.

Bo Pearsall made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and a double.

On Coudersport's side, Gavyn Ayers made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Ayers was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Coudersport let Mason Roessner and Owen Deutschlander loose on the outfield. Roessner went 3-for-4 with three runs, a triple, and two RBI, while Deutschlander scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Coudersport is facing Northern Potter at the right time seeing as Northern Potter is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
