Basketball Recap: North Boone Takes a Loss

North Boone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 62-39 to the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 529th, while the Dukes & Duchesses are ranked 128th).

North Boone's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Dixon, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Boone will square off against Harvard at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dixon, they will venture away from home to take on Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
