Basketball Recap: New Hampton Comes Up Short

New Hampton lost against Waukon back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The New Hampton Chickasaws took a 59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waukon Indians. The Chickasaws have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Hampton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Waukon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-15.

New Hampton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waukon, they will venture away from home to challenge Aplington-Parkersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aplington-Parkersburg knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 22 games -- so hopefully Waukon likes a good challenge.
