Baseball Recap: San Fernando Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but San Fernando ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Burroughs Bears, sneaking past 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

San Fernando's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Alex Torres, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

San Fernando's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Burroughs, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
