Soccer Recap: Farmington Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Farmington took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Siloam Springs, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cardinals' defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 1-0 shutout on Monday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Farmington were the better team in the second half.

Farmington's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Siloam Springs, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.
