Baseball Recap: Cimarron Takes a Loss

Cimarron fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Goodland on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cowboys by a score of 2-1. The Bluejays' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Cimarron saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Coulter Dohrmann, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Dohrmann is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played.

Cimarron's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9-2. As for Goodland, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

While Cimarron had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
