Basketball Game Preview: Camden County Bruins vs. Northside - Pinetown Panthers

The Camden County Bruins will venture away from home to face off against the Northside - Pinetown Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Camden County, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Northside - Pinetown's (thus far) undefeated season.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 50-21, which was the final score in Camden County's tilt against Gates County on Monday.

The losing side was boosted by Aaliyah Anderson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards. Anderson is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Northside - Pinetown against Mattamuskeet on Tuesday as the team secured a 53-15 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 38 points or more this season.

Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Northside - Pinetown, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Camden County came up short against Northside - Pinetown when the teams last played back in January of 2020, falling 54-47. Can Camden County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
