Basketball Recap: Tazewell Takes a Loss

Tazewell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Castlewood Blue Devils 54-9.

Tazewell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Castlewood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tazewell will be home for the holidays to greet Holston at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Castlewood and Chilhowie will compete for holiday cheer at 2:00 p.m. on December 23rd.
