Poudre came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors 3-0.

Poudre never let Eagle Ridge Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-8, 26-24, 25-12.

Chase Hawkinson paced Poudre's offense, picking up ten kills. Hawkinson got some help from Chais Soderberg and his 23 assists. Spir Tullius controlled things from the service line, finishing with 12 aces.

Poudre pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Eagle Ridge Academy, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Looking ahead, Poudre will be playing in front of their home fans against Pomona at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eagle Ridge Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Stargate School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
