Baseball Recap: North Desoto Falls Short of West Feliciana in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North DeSoto can now relate to. They fell just short of the West Feliciana Saints by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The Griffins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Saints earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

North DeSoto's loss dropped their record down to 26-12. As for West Feliciana, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-11 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North DeSoto beat West Feliciana by a score of 8-7 later that day.
