Basketball Recap: Omar Warring and Jalen Holmes Secure Win for Overbrook

Overbrook waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They secured a 54-50 W over the Bartram Communications Phoenix.

Leading Overbrook to victory were Jalen Holmes and Omar Warring. Holmes dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds, while Warring went 5 of 6 on his way to 12 points in addition to seven boards and seven blocks. Warring is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last 11 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden James, who posted eight points along with five assists and three steals.

Overbrook is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Overbrook won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Varsity Opponent at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bartram Communications does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
