Basketball Recap: Clark Montessori Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked Versailles

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Clark Montessori had no problem doing just that on Friday. They snuck past the Versailles Tigers with a 62-57 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Cougars' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while the Tigers are ranked 120th).

The win made it two in a row for Clark Montessori and bumps their season record up to 16-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points over those games. As for Versailles, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-7 record.

As of now, neither Clark Montessori nor Versailles have any future games scheduled.
