Softball Recap: Montclair Comes Up Short

Montclair was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Summit Hilltoppers, falling 11-1.

Montclair's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Summit, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

Looking ahead, Montclair will be playing at home against West Orange at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mountaineers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Mounties' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Summit, they will face off against Union at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
