Shelbyville extended their postseason success on Friday against Frankston. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 10-5. The Dragons are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Tanor Doggett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Morgan Doggett, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gus Duvon, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Shelbyville's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-7-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Frankston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 23-8.
