Baseball Recap: Tupelo Golden Wave vs. Mooreville Troopers

The Golden Wave were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Troopers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Dayne Wray was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.
