Northeastern was not the first on the board  on Monday, but they got there more often. They put the hurt on the Eastern Hancock Royals with a sharp  11-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won ten games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 The team  relied heavily on  Blake Waters, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs and one  triple.
The  victory made it two in a row for Northeastern and  bumps their season record up to 13-6. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5  runs in those games. As for Eastern Hancock,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-13-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeastern will venture away from home to  face off against Cambridge City Lincoln  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.6  runs per game this season. As for Eastern Hancock, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Muncie Burris  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
