South Albany has gone 8-2 against Crescent Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Wednesday. The Redhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders  at 5:00  p.m. South Albany is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7  runs per game  this season.
South Albany was handed a heart-breaking two-run  defeat in their last  contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against North Salem  on Monday. The Redhawks blew past the Vikings 17-1. The Redhawks haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive  win against them.

South Albany got a  massive  performance out of  Maddie Angel, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and one  triple. Angel is also on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played.  Emily Tschida was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double.
 South Albany  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .581. They are 4-2 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Crescent Valley couldn't beat West Albany  on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Raiders came up short against  the Bulldogs, falling  24-7.
  Abby Kessler and  Desi Campbell stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Kessler  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs, while  Campbell  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI and one  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Keyera Officer, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  run and one  RBI.
 Crescent Valley's loss was  their fifth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 6-13. As for South Albany, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging  on Wednesday. South Albany hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 0.4  home runs per game. However, it's not like Crescent Valley struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 0.5  home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
 South Albany skirted past Crescent Valley  18-16 when the teams last played  back in April. Do  the Redhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
