Softball Recap: Somerville Comes Up Short

The Somerville Pioneers came up short against the Princeton Tigers on Tuesday and fell 8-3. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Somerville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Princeton, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Somerville will look to defend their home field on Friday against Hopewell Valley Central at 4:15 p.m. The Pioneers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Princeton, they will welcome Robbinsville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
