After losing to Hiram the last time they met, South Paulding decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Spartans came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

South Paulding easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16.

South Paulding's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Hiram, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, South Paulding will be playing in front of their home fans against Pebblebrook at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hiram, they will square off against Coosa at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
