Volleyball Recap: Smiths Station Takes a Loss

Smiths Station lost against Northside back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Patriots.

Smiths Station was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Northside work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24.

Smiths Station has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Northside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-15.

Looking ahead, Smiths Station will face off against Auburn at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northside, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Glenwood on the 29th.
