Softball Preview: Northlake Christian Wolverines vs. Loranger Wolves
Northlake Christian is 9-1 against Loranger since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wolverines will square off against the Wolves at 5:00 p.m. Northlake Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
Northlake Christian barely beat Haynes Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolverines blew past Haynes Academy 11-1 on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolverines considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Abigail Willie made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. Willie was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
