Volleyball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Madison-Grant Argylls, falling 3-0. The Giants were not able to make up for their defeat to the Argylls from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-13.

Aubry Roedl paced Marion's offense, picking up three kills. Roedl got some help from Jayelle Washington and her six assists. Harmony Groves controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 2-24. As for Madison-Grant, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-16.

Looking ahead, Marion will square off against Hamilton Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Madison-Grant, they will face off against Elwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
