Basketball Recap: Bexley Takes a Loss

Bexley lost against St. Charles back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bexley Lions fell 36-29 to the St. Charles Cardinals. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Bexley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for St. Charles, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Bexley will finish 2024 at home by hosting Johnstown-Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Charles, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the St. Charles Cardinals take on the Hilliard Darby Panthers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Hilliard Darby knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully St. Charles likes a good challenge.
