Soccer Recap: San Clemente Comes Up Short

After flying high against El Dorado last Wednesday, San Clemente came back down to earth. The San Clemente Tritons fell just short of the Palos Verdes Sea Kings by a score of 3-2 on Friday. It was the first time this season that the Tritons let down their fans at home.

Jonah Lefandosky wasn't going to let Palos Verdes walk away unscathed as he scored both of San Clemente's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

San Clemente's loss dropped their record down to 2-1-1. As for Palos Verdes, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

San Clemente will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Birmingham at 2:50 p.m. on December 27th. As for Palos Verdes, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Los Alamitos on the 16th.
