San Elizario and Mountain View are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Eagles will host the Lobos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Elizario has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 27.

San Elizario fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Clint on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They lost 10-4 to the Lions.

Mountain View hadn't beaten Fabens on the road since April 6, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Lobos came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats, sneaking past 6-4.

Diego Peinado was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Mountain View's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-13. As for San Elizario, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.
